Farhang Abbasi born 1969, obtained
his MSc at the Amirkabir University of Technology, followed by a PhD in polymer
engineering at the same university (2002). Subsequently, he joined Sahand
University of Technology as an assistant professor in faculty of chemical engineering,
then was head of research center for polymeric materials at SUT in 2003. He won the first prize of 9th
Razi Medical Sciences Festival (medical instruments, discovery and invention
division),
